Stephen Weinman, M.D. was born in New York and raised in New Paltz, graduating from New Paltz High School in 1980. He graduated from Cornell University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and in 1989 he graduated from Upstate Medical School in Syracuse, New York. He went on to complete his residency training in Family Practice in Binghamton. Since 1992 Dr. Weinman has worked in many emergency departments, urgent cares and family practices around the country and as far as Guam, in the South Pacific. Dr. Weinman is a certified Medical Review Officer, a United States Civil Surgeon and a New York State Trooper Surgeon working as a doctor in Highland and New Paltz.  Doctor Weinman has a special interest in cosmetic dermatology and owns Essence MediSpa at FirstCare Medical Center. He is a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery and the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society.

Dr Weinman wrote the first trail guide to the Shawangunk Mountains surrounding New Paltz,  “A Rock With A View, Hiking, Biking and Skiing the Shawangunk Mountains. ” Dr. Weinman returned to his hometown of New Paltz permanently in 1998 and started FirstCare with his family in 2008. He is married with three children.

Anne Kamilla Weinman (Mille), R.N.

Mille Weinman wears many hats at Firstcare. Mille hold a Bachelor in Nursing Science from Denmark and is a registered nurse in New York State. She also designed every detail of our beautiful office interior, from the architectural layout to the furnishings and artwork and also holds a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC.  She is instrumental in our business leadership, helping to manage the Human Resources department and running our marketing program, maintaining the interior of our business, and keeping us organized.  Mille utilizes her nursing skills when we have patient care needs.

Mille lives in New Paltz with her husband Dr. Weinman and their three children.  Mille still enjoys sewing costumes and has provided interior design for multiple businesses and private homes in the area.  She is very proud of our terrific staff and enjoys connecting with patients and support our office and community.

Jeff Logan, Licensed Practical Nurse.
Started in 2010.

Jeff Logan was born and raised in New Paltz. He went away to college but returned with his college sweetheart, Theresa. After supplying the Hudson Valley with malt beverages and the northeast with cellular phone service he decided medicine was his calling and became an licensed practical nurse. With his skill at drawing blood and procedures he is a valuable member of our urgent care team.

Kim Doyle, Office Manager.
Started in 2011.
Kim comes to us with 25 years experience in the medical field, 9 of which were spent managing another urgent care medical facility. She is a Newburgh native with three children. Kim graduated from Newburgh Free Academy and SUNY Orange. We’re very happy to have a manager with her experience.

Kelly Greco, Reception.
Started in 2011.
Kelly is a local girl from Highland who attended Dutchess Community College and graduated with honors in Sociology. She lives with her wonderful grandparents and is a trophy winning dart player.

Sean McCutcheon, Reception.
Started 2011.
Sean joined the FirstCare staff after retiring from the New Paltz Police Department after 21 years of public service. Sean decided to move in a new direction after his career in law enforcement by joining the smiling faces at our front desk in addition to taking a part time position at Mohonk Mountain House. Sean is married with three wonderul children and is much more relaxed than in his previous life.

Paula worked for many years for a cardiologist in Yonkers, and decided to slow the pace down and come to work at our front desk. Paula enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Jenna was raised in Highland, NY. She is a mother of two wonderful children and one crazy dog, Nina. She has been in the medical field for ten years, and aspires to become a Nurse Anesthetist. In her free time, Jenna enjoys adventuring with her children, playing soccer, and doing Krav Maga.

Nicole Hunt, Bookkeeper.  
Started in 2019.

Nicole was born and raised in Southern California where she met her Husband and had 3 beautiful children. After many trips to the Hudson Valley to visit her husband’s home town, Nicole and her family packed up and made the big move to the East Coast. Nicole has been in banking, bookkeeping and accounting for over 15 years. She thrived at Citrus College before leaving for an Associate Vice President of Business Banking position with Bank of America. We welcome this West Coast girl into our East Coast world.

Eric Ronis, Radiologic Technologist.  
Started in 2019.

Eric was born right across the river in Millbrook NY. He attended Dutchess Community College before continuing a history degree at Suny Oneonta. Afterwards, he continued his education as a radiologic technologist at Hudson Valley Community College. He currently resides in Catskill NY with his beautiful girlfriend Allysa.

Ashley L. Takacs, PA – C
Started 2020.

Ashley was born and raised in Poughkeepsie, NY. She graduated from Dutchess Community College in 2011 with an Associate degree in Science. She also graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience.  Her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies is from Albany Medical College, received in 2018, and she has been practicing as a PA-C in urgent care faculties and primary care practices since.

In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with friends and family, including her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Olive.

Jillian Carlstrom, PA-C.  Physician Assistant.
Started 2020

Jillian was born and raised in Montgomery, New York. She is a licensed physician assistant, certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Jillian earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Arcadia University in Christiana, DE in 2019. She has been practicing in urgent care and primary care settings since.

While pursuing her certification as a physician assistant, Jillian trained with healthcare professionals at Sharp Grossmont Hospital in San Diego, Calif., the Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Del., the Pediatric Practice of Northeastern Pennsylvania in Honesdale, Pa., Cape Regional Health System in Cape May, N.J., Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Del., and the Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, N.M.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with her friends and family.

Brandon Reed, Medical Assistant.

Brandon was raised in Highland, NY. He has been in the medical field for 8 years. He received his EMT in 2018 and has experience working on an ambulance, as well as in an emergency room. He is currently studying to become an RN at Columbia-Greene Community college, with a goal to become a family Nurse Practitioner. He is an avid Yankees fan, and on his days off he enjoys spending time with his family.

Jacqueline has worked in the medical field for over 20 years. She started as a Certified Nurse Assistant and worked as a CNA for 10 years. She has worked as medical billing, and as a medical receptionist for the remainder of her career. When she is not working she enjoys hiking, spending time w/ family, friends and  her 2 beautiful Old English Bull doggies. Jackie works with our Family Practice.

Carly Jobson, PA-C.

Carly is a dedicated Physician Assistant with a passion for emergency medicine. Carly’s journey in healthcare began as an EMT at New Paltz Rescue, where she developed a deep commitment to patient care. Carly earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from SUNY New Paltz, and driven by a desire to make a more profound impact, she pursued a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Marist College, where she further refined her clinical expertise and compassionate approach to patient care. She continues to work at the Marist College PA Program as an adjunct professor.

With a genuine love for her hometown, Carly continues to reside in New Paltz. Her professional journey has led her to thrive in the urgent care setting, and particularly loves performing procedures such as laceration repair.

Beyond the medical realm, Carly finds solace and joy in the great outdoors. An avid skier and hiker, she embraces the beauty of nature as a counterbalance to her demanding profession.

Noel Campisi, Medical Assistant
Started 2022

Noel is a lifelong Wallkill resident, graduating from Wallkill Senior High School. She started her medical career at Saint Luke’s in the emergency department. She furthered her career at Caremount as a phlebotomist. She is married to her high school sweetheart, and they have a beautiful daughter who just started kindergarten. She hopes to further her career by going to LPN school.

Rebecca Pasternack, Reception
Started 2023

Rebecca was raised on Long Island, but fell in love with the Hudson valley and plans to stick around. She is currently attending SUNY New Paltz to get her master’s degree in mental health counseling after receiving her bachelor’s in psychology and sociology. When not at work or school, Rebecca can be found volunteering at local cat shelters or learning a new craft. She hopes to use her counseling experience to help ease patient nerves and use her urgent care experience to be calm in the face of chaos when working with therapy clients.

Julie Cavanaugh, LPN.  Licensed Practical Nurse.
Started 2023

Julie spent many years working as a teaching assistant in an elementary school before becoming a nurse.   She is a member of the National Association of Licensed Practical Nurse’s Honor Society.  Julie has been married to her husband for almost 30 years and has 3 children and 2 sons in law.  Her oldest daughter is also a nurse.  In her free time she enjoys camping with her husband and dog, cooking and baking.

Nala Weinman, Emotional Support Animal
Started 2020

Nala comes to us from an Amish farm in Pennsylvania. She was born in 2019, but has the energy of a much older dog. She is mostly Siberian Husky with a touch of Pomeranian (aka Pomsky.)  Her hobbies are sleeping, eating and shedding. She enjoys playing with her family and her best friend Cotah.
